45 Front Loader
The 45 Loader is suited to many homeowner and commercial applications for spreading and leveling driveway materials, transporting and loading landscape materials, and scraping and piling yard materials. This loader can be used for snow removal, grounds maintenance, landscaping, and many applications where loading and movement of material is required.

Mounts to X700, X720, X728, X740, X748, X475, X485, X495, X575, X585, and X595 Two-Wheel-Steer Tractors. Not compatible with X465 because air-cooled engine shrouding interferes with loader mounting parts.

Requirements and/or recommendations:
1) Tractor must be equipped with hydrostatic transaxle relief valve to protect tractor transaxle from damage:

• BW15043 2WD hydrostatic transaxle relief valve for X700, X720, X740, X475, X485, and X495. Included with loader (Code 1000). Also requires M146148 free-wheeling valve control lever. Included with loader (Code 3990M).
• BW15044 4WD hydrostatic transaxle relief valve for X728, X748, X575, X585, and X595. Included with loader (Code 1001). Also requires M146148 free-wheeling valve control lever. Included with loader (Code 3990M).

2) Tractor ballasting required—ballast box, ten 42 lb. Quik-Tatch weights, two 72 lb. starter weights, two 50 lb. cast-iron wheel weights, and mounting hardware
3) X700 and X475 Tractors require BM20761 Hydraulic Coupler Kit
4) If not already equipped, tractors require AM134625 hydraulic cylinder lock-out valve to prevent oil flow to and from the rockshaft cylinder (keeps tractor rockshaft from moving) during loader use and speed up loader cycle times (must order from Parts).
5) Tractor requires 4-ply front tires.
6) Installation of BM20911 regenerative bucket kit is recommended to improve bucket cycle times.

Quick-Tatch

Quik-Tatch parking system allows the loader to be quickly and easily removed to free tractor for other tasks Quik-tatch design permits installation or removal in less than 5 minutes No tools are required after initial installation—mounting brackets can remain on the tractor Loader can be operated with mower installed if desired The parking stand is integrated into the design of the loader Removal is accomplished from the tractor seat by utilizing the tractor hydraulics and then disconnecting the hydraulic couplers

Mounting
	The rear mounting frame has been co-engineered by the tractor and loader engineers and is installed through the tractor chassis. It attaches with six fasteners for easy installation and is very durable because it is integrated into the tractor chassis.
	The loader uses the tractor hydraulics for attachment and removal from the tractor.
	The front latch is opened or closed from the tractor seat by a latch handle.

Bucket
	A 48-in. bucket is standard equipment. The bucket's top surface is parallel with the bottom, making it easier for the operator to judge the level position of the bucket. The front edge of the bucket extends past the upper lip, making it easier to carry items in the base of the bucket.

Control Levers

Boom and bucket movement are controlled by the tractor's conveniently located hydraulic control levers next to the steering wheel. The lower tractor hydraulic lever has a ''float'' position to allow the bucket to follow the contour of the ground. This is especially useful for such work as scraping sand or gravel from hard surfaces and for backfilling or leveling on uneven ground. An optional regenerative bucket kit (BM20911) is available to improve bucket cycle times. Double-acting cylinders are used to provide down pressure for digging and scraping applications.

Lift Capacity

Lift capacities have increased substantially over previous loader models for this class of tractor. Emphasis has been placed on achieving greater capacities at the lower lift heights, recognizing just how customers use this product as the ''mechanical wheelbarrow'' to move materials at the homesite or small commercial operations. Note: Lift capacities calculated at nominal relief pressure using ASAE 301.3 with load at bucket pivot pin. Breakout force at pivot —1105 lb. Breakout force at bucket tip—770 lb. Lift capacity at 36-in.—640 lb. Lift capacity at full height—365 lb.
